How to Cook Simple Meals
① Learning how to cook simple meals is important because it saves money, improves health, and builds independence. ② If you want to learn to cook, you can follow these steps. ③ The first step is to choose an easy recipe and read it carefully. ④ I remember trying to cook without reading the instructions, and I ended up burning the food. ⑤ This step is important because without understanding the recipe, you will not know what to do next. ⑥ The second step is to prepare all the ingredients and tools before you start cooking. ⑦ For example, you should wash the vegetables, measure the spices, and prepare the pan first. ⑧ Preparation makes cooking easier because you won’t waste time looking for things while the food is cooking. ⑨ The third step is to cook step by step and control the heat. ⑩ I practiced using low heat before I was confident enough to cook faster meals. ⑪ My sister always said, “Good cooking is about patience, not speed.” ⑫ Overall, don’t you think it’s time to start cooking and enjoy making your own food?
How to Be More Active In Class
① If you want to be more active in class, don’t worry because it is a skill that anyone can improve with practice. ② Here are three simple steps to help you participate more confidently. ③ Firstly, prepare before coming to class. ④ My teacher once told me that students feel shy because they are not ready with ideas. ⑤ I followed this advice and started reading the topic and writing a few notes before the lesson. ⑥ The second step is to ask simple questions. ⑦ I usually try to ask at least one question when I don’t understand something. ⑧ It is said that asking questions helps students learn faster and shows interest in the lesson. ⑨ The last step is to speak up and share your opinion. ⑩ For me, I usually start by answering easy questions and giving short responses. ⑪ Then I slowly try to join discussions and respond to my classmates’ ideas. ⑫ As a result, you’ll become more confident and active in class in no time.
